Wood-fired Teapot
Mum couldn't stop calling this a neti pot. It's suppose to be a Japanese left-handed teapot that I wood-fired. I was not capable of making a lid at the time, so it has no lid. The drop of grey glaze on the back is wood ash or cone pack, we're not really sure, everything blows around in the wood-firing.
Vase of Bone
This is not really a vase of bone even though it's a common ingredient in clay... but the celadon on the top half of the vase really looks like it.
Elliot's Fall Work
This is not my work, this is my good friend Elliot's who had a little accident when his columns of vases fell over in the kiln and stuck together. We managed to pry them out in about an hour and salvage four of the eight columns. His glazes are beautiful.

Wood-fired Vases

This probably did not reach cone 10 in the firing but it turned out gorgeous.
