This was probably one of my best pieces this year and inspired by one of Siem van der Ven's pieces.

 

 

 

 

Wood-fired Teapot

Mum couldn't stop calling this a neti pot. It's suppose to be a Japanese left-handed teapot that I wood-fired. I was not capable of making a lid at the time, so it has no lid. The drop of grey glaze on the back is wood ash or cone pack, we're not really sure, everything blows around in the wood-firing.

This probably did not reach cone 10 in the firing but it turned out gorgeous.
