Buddha, Dharma, Sangha.

My version of Buddha, Dharma, Sangha.

The Buddha bowl is of course covered in Buddha.

For Dharma I painted Anderson Center for the Arts at Hartwick College, art is my dharma.

Chinese Vases

These are the vases I made inspired by what I saw in China over this summer.

Experimental Glazes

Below is a celadon glaze I mixed from scratch. The other side of the pot was facing a vase coated with granit, some of the pieces fell off onto my pot forming the lumps you see.

This was a shino which may have not worked out.

Milky Bowl

This cup had all three of the glazes I mixed.

Crazy Mug #1

This is an upside down bowl I had to fire twice. The first time it came out it was taffy green I then I fired it again in an oxidation kiln and it ran like crazy. I broke off the foot rim which you can see at the top. I took a photo of this upside down so you could see the relatively interesting glaze.
